How to Choose Bearing Track Roller?

Bearings are an important part of contemporary machinery and equipment. Its main function is to support the mechanical rotating body, reduce the friction coefficient during its movement, and ensure its rotation accuracy.

Rolling bearing inner diameter and outer diameter dimensions of industrial bearing suppliers are manufactured according to standard tolerances. The tightness of the inner ring and shaft, outer ring and seat hole of the bearing can only be achieved by controlling the tolerance of the journal and the tolerance of the seat hole. The matching between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft adopts the base hole system, and the matching between the outer ring of the bearing and the seat hole adopts the base shaft system. To choose the right fit, it is necessary to know the actual load conditions, operating temperature and other requirements of the bearing track roller, but it is actually very difficult. Therefore, in most cases, the coordination is selected based on the use of fine research.

Ⅰ. Bearing transition fit refers to a fit that may have clearance or interference

At this time, the tolerance zone of the hole and the tolerance zone of the shaft overlap each other. Rolling bearing transition fit is mainly used for centering connections between holes and shafts. The difference between the larger limit size of the hole minus the smaller limit size of the shaft is the larger gap Xmax, which is the looser state of the hole and shaft fit. The smaller limit size of the hole minus the larger limit size of the shaft is the difference in order to increase the interference Ymax, it is the tighter state of the hole and shaft fit.

According to the load acting on the bearing relative to the rotation of the ring, there are three types of loads borne by the bearing ring, including partial load, cyclic load, and swing load. Usually cyclic load (rotating load) and swing load adopt tight fit. For local loads, except for special requirements in use, a tight fit is generally not suitable. When the bearing ring bears a dynamic load and is under a heavy load, the inner and outer rings should adopt interference fit, but sometimes the outer ring may be slightly loosened, and it should be able to move axially in the housing hole of the bearing housing. When the bearing ring bears the swing load and the load is light, a slightly looser fit than a tight fit can be used.

Ⅱ. Roughness and shape tolerance of bearing mating surface

The roughness and shape tolerance of rolling bearings directly affect the performance of the product, such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance and mating properties. For this reason, rationally stipulating the shape and position tolerances of the shaft and the housing hole and putting forward the requirements of the mating surface roughness is essential for stabilizing the mating properties and improving the joint strength of the over-win fit.
