How to Choose Thrust Bearing and Deep Groove Ball Bearing?
Do you also have the same question, there are thousands of bearing models, and there are many common models, so how to choose? Let me introduce to you next.
1. Selection of thrust bearing
Thrust bearing is a separable bearing with low limit speed, and the collar and seat can be separated from the retainer and steel ball assembly. The collar is the collar that engages with the shaft, and the collar is the collar that engages with the housing bore with a gap between the shaft and the shaft. Thrust ball bearing can only bear axial load. One-way thrust ball bearing can only bear one-way axial load, and double direction thrust ball bearing can bear two-way axial load.
Thrust ball bearings cannot limit the radial displacement of the shaft, and the limit speed is low. One-way thrust ball bearings can limit the axial displacement of the shaft and housing in one direction, and two-way bearings can limit the axial displacement in two directions.
Thrust roller bearings are used to bear the combined axial and radial loads mainly based on axial load, but the radial load should not exceed 55% of the axial load. Compared with other roller bearings, this kind of bearing has low friction coefficient, high speed and self-aligning performance. The cylindrical rollers of the 29000 type bearings are asymmetric spherical rollers, which can reduce the relative sliding between the rollers and the track. In addition, the length and diameter of the rollers are large, the number of rollers is large, and the load capacity is high, so oil lubrication is usually used, and grease lubrication can be used for individual low speeds. When designing and selecting, preference is given to 8000 type thrust cylindrical roller bearings and 90000 type thrust tapered roller bearings, which can withstand axial loads in one direction. This is far greater than the axial load capacity of the thrust ball bearing, with high rigidity and small axial space. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are suitable for low rotational speed, and the rotational speed of thrust tapered roller bearings is slightly higher than that of thrust cylindrical roller bearings.
2. Selection of deep groove ball bearings
Deep groove ball bearings are the most representative rolling bearings. Compared with other types of bearings of the same size, this type of bearing is the most widely used type of bearing with low friction coefficient, high limit speed, simple structure, low manufacturing cost, high precision, not always requiring dimensions, wide size range, many forms. Mainly by radial load, can bear a certain axial load. With radial load only, the contact angle is zero.
After the deep groove ball bearing is installed on the shaft, the bidirectional axial displacement of the shaft or the housing can be limited within the axial clearance range of the bearing, so the axial positioning can be carried out in both directions. When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, it has the performance of an angular contact bearing and can bear a large axial load. Under high-speed operating conditions with large axial loads, deep groove ball bearings are superior to thrust ball bearings. In addition, this kind of bearing has a certain adjustment ability, even if it is inclined 2~10' relative to the housing hole, it can operate normally, but it will affect the bearing life.
