Selecting the Best Seals for Beverage Lines(Part 2: Decision Guide)

Eccentric loading in stamping lines causes bearings to fail prematurely. Offset loads, impact, and roller misalignment create edge stress concentration, leading to spalling, heat, vibration, and unplanned downtime.

A vacuum pump maker faced creep corrosion and uneven load sharing. THB recommended interference fit and reduced axial clearance. Results: noise down 5 dB, power and maintenance costs each cut by over 20%.

THB resolved a waterjet equipment positioning issue caused by inadequate bearing selection and insufficient axial rigidity. By replacing standard double-row angular contact bearings with specialized ball screw support bearings and optimizing the positioning structure, bearing service life increased up to 3.77 times, from 862 hours to 3,254 hours.
